Before I start, let me give you the definition of the terms just so we don’t misunderstand each other. I don’t want to have to explain myself over and over again.
An agnostic is a person who believes that the existence of a greater power, such as a god, cannot be proven or disproved; therefore an agnostic wallows in the complexity of the existence of higher beings.
An atheist denies the existent of a higher being.
Moving on. As I mentioned on my Pr0-Choice; Pro-RH Bill post, my family follows the Catholic church. And most of my aunts are die hard Catholics, so my cousins and I suffer the regular insane sermons about listening to Lady Gaga and being pro to the RH Bill.
Earlier this morning, while I was having breakfast and watching the news my aunt comes in and says; “See what’s happening to the Philippines? It’s because of the RH Bill.” In my head I was like; “Seriously?” But of course, out of respect I decided not to say anything and just keep my thoughts in the back of my head where it’s safe.
After my really long nap, I decided to check on my friends. Logged on to Facebook and found this:

I don’t know what sort of mentality these people have. By using the Lord’s name in vain, isn’t that already going against His commandments? That’s what I find annoying. Most Catholics are hypocrites. They say one thing and do the entire opposite. It’s shameful to think that this is the religion I was born and raised with.
If this is God’s wrath because of the RH Bill then please explain the reason behind Ondoy and Sendong. The RH Bill wasn’t a topic of discussion then. If I recall, there wasn’t anything the church was against during that time. Your logic is therefore invalid.
If this is God’s wrath because of the RH Bill, why isn’t Alabang and our side of BF Las Pinas submerged in water? You want to know why? It’s discipline and proper drainage systems. Here in the south you rarely see a pile of garbage on the side of the road, unless you go to the market areas and places like T.S. Cruz and Moonwalk. Our drainage systems aren’t clogged with gunk which makes it easy for the water to flow. In the metro it’s a different story. With all the squatters everywhere and all the gunk and what-have-you blocking the water’s way out how do you expect the flood to subside? If you notice, even in mild rains, there are areas in Manila flooded till your knees. It’s lack of discipline. When will people start taking care of their trash?
So before you use the name of God in vain, please use your common sense first. Ignorance is not an excuse.
